Childrens' and Young People's Therapies - Buckinghamshire

This notice is placed as a Prior Information Notice, and relates only to a pre-procurement market engagement event. The NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups (“CCGs”) from Buckinghamshire (namely NHS Aylesbury Vale CCG and NHS Chiltern CCG) in collaboration with Buckinghamshire County Council wish to engage with providers of the following Children’s and Young People’s services to understand how these services can be delivered in an integrated and innovative manner under a single contract, in order to improve outcomes.

The current annual contract value of these three services combined is circa.£3.7M

The commissioners wish to speak with current and potential providers of these services in order to inform the development of the service specification, contractual models and procurement choices. In particular the commissioners are keen to understand how Assistive Technology and Outcomes Based Payments might help with high quality service delivery and how Personal Budgets might add risk to the contract. The commissioners reserve the right not to run a procurement process following these discussions.

The commissioners will be holding one-to-one meetings with organisations who are interested in helping the commissioners to develop their thinking on this project, most likely on Monday 18th January 2016, at a Buckinghamshire location. The commissioners reserve the right to short-list organisations to take part in the one-to-one market investigation discussions, if needed.
