Westminster City Council would like to inform the market of their plans to tender an extra care services for older people in the next 4 to 8 weeks, with the new service expected to be in place by Spring 2020.
The service details are as follows:
The extra care housing scheme is for up to 53 people aged over 55. There are 51 flats, these are comprised of 8 bedsits within a dedicated dementia unit, 41 x 1-bed and 2 x 2-bed flats within the general unit.
We are looking for providers who will deliver:
- a resident focussed innovative approach
- strong communication with all stakeholders
- a good understanding of the needs of our residents
- good understanding of personalisation and the impact
The service will need to meet a range of complex needs of residents, while having a good understanding of housing and tenancy issues and of older people who require 24-hour care and support because of their physical, learning or mental ill-health or disability.
This tender represents a great opportunity to work with Westminster City Council to provide excellent ECH services to residents of the borough.
