description
Portsmouth City Council is inviting suitably qualified and experienced provider organisations to submit a proposal for the provision of an intensive family support service for children and families in the city.
The aim of the intensive family support service is to support families with multiple and complex needs to make the changes necessary to improve their outcomes and avoid the need for statutory intervention.
The contract will commence on 1st July 2017 and will be let for a three-year period with the option to extend for up to two further years in increments to be agreed. Any such extension will be dependent on service performance, the agreement of both parties and the identification of funding after the end of the national Troubled Families programme in March 2020.
Closing date for tender submissions will be 12 noon on Friday 27th February 2017.
