Catering concession - Guildhall Square 2019 - 2021 - AWARD

Portsmouth City Council ('the Council') is inviting bids for a mobile hot and cold food and drink offer at Guildhall Square from suitable qualified operators.

The pitch is offered with a 1 year licence and associated concession contract with the provision to extend by 1 further year to a maximum of 2 years, subject to the agreement and performance of both parties.

The operator can start trading from the 1st October 2019 at the earliest. Trading is permitted 7 days per week, between the hours of 08:00 and 21:00 only.

The offer must include the sale of hot and cold food and drinks and the Council's preference is for offers to be a healthy offer or include healthy options. Offers that include the sale of alcohol will not be considered.

The successful bidder will deliver a rental income to the Council that offers a minimum of £9,000 per annum. Proposals may also include a % turnover share.

The concession will not be able to operate between the dates of 12th November 2019 and 15th January 2020 due to the square being occupied by the winter ice skating rink. The concession will also not be able to trade during Comicon and VE/VJ Events, these dates will be confirmed with the successful operator.
