Solihull Community Housing has district heating systems installed at numerous sites located within the Metropolitan Borough of Solihull. The district heating systems consist of biomass boiler installations (with gas back up), located within thirteen plant rooms that service heating and hot water to 23 high rise buildings containing approximately 1200 flats. SCH is looking to appoint a suitable contractor (or a number of contractors) to carry out the necessary servicing and maintenance works required to help manage and ensure that the biomass district heating systems remain fully operational and run at optimum efficiency.
