The Council is seeking to appoint a Contractor for the Electrical Repairs and rewiring resulting from electrical testing including reactive and one off repairs as may be requested to all types of properties operated by Reading Borough Council.

The Form of Contract is the JCT Measured Term Contract 2011. It is anticipated that the Contract will commence in April 2017 and will run for three years, with the option to extend the contract by a further 2 years to end in March 2022 (subject to agreement by both parties).

The anticipated value for the works ordered using this contract is £440,000 per annum. There is no guarantee of any work and no guarantee of any level of work in any financial year.
