AV Pod Housing Design, Manufacture and Delivery

Royal Armouries is running a tender for the fabrication and delivery of AV housing units. The current AV displays in the galleries are purpose built pods that accommodate a single 15” CRT monitor and panel speaker. As the monitors are failing, finding replacement monitors that fit within the same pods is not a practical or cost effective solution, therefore Royal Armouries wish to replace the pod units with newly designed units that can accommodate flat screen monitors and have a flexible mounting solution that enables adjustment for alternative replacement monitors.

Royal Armouries have acquired preliminary design drawings for a new pod design and now require a supplier to work these drawings into a more detailed design followed by production and delivery of the units. They are required to be made from fabricated sheet metal or equivalent and form a permanent solution.
