description

Plymouth Ports Study consultancy.

.

The study will cover all 4 harbours in the Dockyard Port of Plymouth and aims to identify opportunities to maximise the future economic contribution of Plymouth's Harbours to the City, support the transition to Net Zero and create green jobs.

The study will engage with the harbour operators to develop a detailed understanding of their existing port operations and plans for future growth, as well as mapping out Plymouth's existing and considerable strengths in the marine sector in terms of infrastructure, research and development capabilities and the marine supply chain. Having established the baseline, the study will identify opportunities to maximise the economic benefits and the actions and interventions required to deliver this.

The output of this work will be used to support local strategy and policy development (including the refresh of the Local Plan), future funding bids and business case development and for briefing local elected members and other key stakeholders.
