description
UK Sport is the government's non-departmental public body responsible for working in partnership to deliver medal success at successive Summer and Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games; and supporting the bidding for the right to host major sporting events in the UK.
UK Sport's stakeholder relationships are complex and diverse. On an organisation-to-organisation basis, the relationships can be characterised as multi-tiered, typically with peer-to-peer engagement at Chair, Chief Executive, Director and Officer level albeit to different extents and frequencies and according to functional expertise (performance, major events, communications, commercial, finance and human resources etc).
The broad purpose of this research is to undertake an evaluation of our key relationships to understand whether anything needs to change in our day-to-day approach in our interaction with stakeholders. It is an opportunity for a full and frank exchange with stakeholders/partners using an independent external agency to help remove barriers and encourage openness and honesty.
