description

The Authority (Surrey County Council) has initiated an open tender procedure in order to procure a Framework Agreement for the Provision of Responsive and Planned Maintenance of Travellers Caravan Sites in accordance with European Community legislative requirements as implemented by the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.

The type of work is to carry out maintenance works under the control of the Employer’s Service Manager. Tasks will be responsive in nature with an option to extend it to some planned maintenance works if needed.

The prime aim of this Contract is to maintain and enhance the facilities of the traveller sites. Contractors appointed will work in collaboration with the Service Managers to ensure that -

  • Buildings remain in operational condition
  • Plant and equipment are serviced and maintained to ensure efficiency and reliability

The appointed Contractors will provide the following services: -

  • Electrical Maintenance – Responsive, servicing, minor works and occasionally planned programme works
  • Mechanical Maintenance – Responsive, servicing, minor works and occasionally planned programme works.
  • Building Fabric - Responsive, minor works and occasionally planned programme works.
  • Out of Hours response for responsive works

The Framework will be operational from the end of 2015 for 4 years.

Anticipated Call-off Contract Term for Surrey County Authority is expected to be 3 Years.

Total Value for the term of the Framework is estimated to be £1.2m - £2m
