CYP's Nursing Leadership scoping - current state and future recommendations

The Authority is looking for a Supplier to undertake a scoping review of current CYP organisational structures. This will include banding, frameworks, governance oversight taking into consideration size of service delivered. If they have a Children's Board or a Children's strategy. This is with a view to making recommendations around what "good" provision looks like and also its pathway and function into Board. The scoping review will need to commence in Jan 2022 and take no more than 4 months to collate.

Children and Young People (CYP) represent a third of our country and their health and wellbeing will determine our future. The NHS Long Term Plan (LTP) set out a vision for the future of the NHS and new action to improve the health and wellbeing of children and young people. To deliver the vision, a Children and Young People Transformation Programme was established to oversee the delivery of LTP commitments in relation to children and young people, overseen by a Children and Young People Transformation Programme Board which brings together key partners across health, care and education.
