description

The primary aim of this service is to improve access to primary care appointments for Canterbury and Coastal CCG patients. By so doing the CCG should be able to reduce the demand for urgent out of hours primary care services. This will increase the capacity of the GP out of hours provider to enable it to more effectively manage urgent demands which can be met by a primary care clinician.

Additional information:

NHS Canterbury & Coastal CCG are committed to achieving both provider resilience and high quality care and access on a sustainable basis. The Commissioners will work with the provider during the tenure of the contract to explore and support innovation and change to help achieve these goals.
