Kresen Kernow Archive Centre - Website and Digital Interactives

Cornwall Council is seeking to gain a better understanding of solutions on the market and what potential suppliers can deliver to provide our online archive and local studies library service, as part of the Heritage Lottery funded, Kresen Kernow (Cornwall Centre in Cornish) project.

The project will bring together the Cornish Studies Library, Cornwall Record Office and Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Historic Environment Record in a purpose built new facility to create the largest collection of records, books, photographs, maps and audio-visual for researching Cornwall’s history, archaeology and culture in the world.

The Kresen Kernow website will be the first contact point for thousands of visitors and researchers and will need to provide information on our collections and using our services, access to digital content, learning resources, a volunteer area, links to historic mapping and an online shop.
