Highway Grass Cutting

Central Bedfordshire Council is inviting tenders (in electronic format only) to deliver highway grass cutting operations across the county.

The work will be split into 5 lots, as follows. Suppliers may submit a bid for any or all of the lots:

• Roadside grass
• Rights of Way
• “Specials”, where particular specifications apply to discrete locations
• Rights of Way Hedge Cutting and Spraying
• Sweeping of Off Road cycle routes

Contract Length: 2 years and 7 months + 1 year optional extension (at CBC discretion)

Contract Start date: 1st April 2016

Contract End date: 31st October 2018

The estimated yearly budget for this contract is between £220,000 and £260,000 and is OJEU threshold using the Open procedure.
