Mandatory training for ASC workforce

Milton Keynes Council wishes to procure the delivery of one day Mandatory Refresher Training for Adult Social Care (ASC) front-line staff on Assisting and Moving People and Emergency First Aid to enhance the quality of the care delivered by ASC Workforce to vulnerable users of service. The course must cover all elements of the Skills for Care Core and Mandatory Training and also be in line with CQC Key Lines of Enquires (KLOES).

Aims of the training are to refresh and update necessary underpinning knowledge, skills, and information for front-line staff on Assisting and Moving People and Basic Life Support and First Aid making them competent to deliver a high-quality care to the users of services.

Structure, content and learning outcomes must reflect changes in:

• oSkills for Care mandatory training requirements
• oThe related legislation
• oThe related local policies and procedures
• oCQC KLOES
