Christmas Lights Lease

St Neots Town Council is seeking a new supplier to provide town centre festive lighting, and decorations for 2021 and beyond. The Town Council has had the same lighting for the previous 5 years and is now seeking new designs and modern lighting to enhance the visitor experience and create a fresh look for 2021. Lighting displays will be located in our town centre along the high street and plaza areas.

Installation, removal and storage of the festive lighting when not in use to be the responsibility of the contractor.

Traditional lamp post column lighting has featured throughout the town centre. Where permitted double sided rectangular designs have featured on the columns:

Town Bridge = 10 singles

High Street = 16 singles

Market Square = 3 singles & 8 doubles

Huntingdon Street = 4 singles

Cambridge Street (cross roads to Bodrum restaurant) = 9 singles Church Street (cross roads to Vicarage) = 7 singles

Total = 57 pieces

Dimensions: To be confirmed.

There are 9 London Planes trees on the Market Square, these have previously had lit globes and icicle lights.

The Priory Centre also has a London Plane tree at the front with lighting

LED lighting is also required to dress 5 Christmas Trees (sourced by SNTC) as follows:

1. x 30 foot Christmas tree
1. X 35-40 foot Christmas tree
3. X 10 foot Christmas trees.

Also interested in options for ground level lighting and LED projection to buildings.
