Architectural Outcomes

The contract provides Digital Architecture Services to DWP Digital Corporate Services providing technical expertise to deliver and maintain new and existing enterprise IT and back office services and Architectural services across a range of business change and technology cloud based projects and programmes.

There are some complex Programmes and Projects currently in delivery and the pipeline also includes smaller continuous improvement projects, iterating current live service. Some Projects will deliver tactical solutions that fit within the context of the overall portfolio and wider DWP Application Reference Architecture.

The breadth of the DCS Portfolio covers Finance; Human Resources (HR); Learning and Development; Estates; Change and Resilience; Communications and the Digital Chief Operating Office. The overall requirement is for a full range of Digital Architecture Services these include roles set out in the Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT) Profession Capability Framework, Technology Job Family,

Outcomes and deliverables from this undertaking will need to comply with Government Digital Services guidance and standards in particular, the Technology Code of Practise.
