Vehicles - Mechanical Sweepers

South Hams District Council's requirement is for up to four (4) four and a half tonne (4.5t) compact mechanical street/road sweepers. These vehicles will be used for the cleansing of pavements, road surfaces and pedestrian areas all within the thirty mile per hour (30 mph) limits of the towns and villages in the South Hams District Council area; consequently the vehicles must be entirely suitable for this purpose.
