description

Background

The way learners access education is changing and increasingly incorporates learning from third-party websites and systems, not just those provided to them via HEE's own platforms and systems. However, finding the best and most appropriate resources can be difficult.

HEE is committed to the building of a digital ready workforce that can use technology effectively to support individuals and patients with their health and care in the present and as new technologies emerge in the future. To benchmark and develop these digital capabilities, it is necessary to assess the current levels of digital literacy in the health and care workforce.

The objective of this project is to develop and pilot a tool that will allow users to diagnose capability gaps according to HEE's digital capabilities framework, making recommendations of learning resources based on the gaps, and then enable participants to re-assess their abilities based on what they have learned, using artificial intelligence to tag and identify resources.

Scope of Contract

We are seeking a partner to work with us and provide a method of assessing an individual's capabilities against the HEE digital literacy framework and making personalised recommendations from our existing catalogue of content and third-party curated content.
