Soft Market Testing Questionnaire - Community payback projects/schemes for a flexible and responsive garden and estate maintenance service
The Council is undertaking Soft Market Testing as a method of gathering market intelligence on the above subject area by engaging with the providers of the services works required.
At the same time the Authority is looking for efficiencies and best value.
Scope of Work
The provision of a minimum of 6000 hours of unpaid work during a 12 month period that benefits the community.
The opportunity may be more appropriate to organisations that work with volunteers or offenders.
Tasks will include:-
| • | Site/garden clearance including weeds, shrubs, trees, fly tipping, leaf litter, litter-picking, removal of green and other waste. |
| • | Horticultural projects and improvements as required |
| • | Snow Clearance and Gritting |
| • | Painting/treating of fencing or other surfaces as required |
A flexible and responsive Estate Maintenance Service is required, to include tenants’ gardens, communal areas and/or other locations identified by the client.
Process for Soft Market Testing
The soft market testing will take place from the date of the published advert on the Sandwell In-tend Supplier Portal until Friday 30th September 2016 at 15:00 hours.
Any enquiries relating to the completion of this document should be submitted as a correspondence on the Sandwell In-tend Supplier Portal no later than 17:30 hours on 22nd September 2016.
