Contract 45 - DPS (Dynamic Purchasing System) Schools and commercial buildings

North Tyneside Council (the Authority) is seeking to establish a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for operational, schools and commercial buildings who will deliver a range of services to supplement the internal workforce.The Authority have opted to establish a DPS as it is deemed the most appropriate option to meet its requirements and will enable a clear, consistent and compliant route to market.

The DPS will be open to new entrants throughout its lifespan to allow coverage for ever changing requirements, including but not limited to new regulations and central government requirements.The DPS is divided into the following High Level Lots based on the specific categories of repairs to be provided unless otherwise indicated all contracts will be for, but not limited to, install, service and maintain and for a duration of two years with an option to extend for a year: - Lot 1 - Aquatic Play - Pool Plant, Sauna Plant & Equipment

Duration one year + option of one year extension

Lot 2 - Automatic Doors - Roller Shutters

Duration one year + option of one year extension

Lot 3 - BMS Systems

Lot 4 - Door Access/CCTV

Lot 5 - Drainage surveys and works

Lot 6 - Fencing - Timber/metal/steel• New Installations

Lot 7 - Fire Extinguishers

Lot 8 - Flexible Surfacing, Soft Play and Equipment

Lot 9 - Hearing Loops

Lot 10 - Lifts and Hoists

Lot 11 - Lightning Conductors

Lot 12 - Painting

Lot 13 - Steelwork/Fabrication Lot 14 Tiling

Lot 15 Brickwork, Render and Walling

Lot 16 Scaffolding

Lot 17 Flooring

Additional information: Unless otherwise stated, the opportunities have an initial contract for twenty four months with an option to extend for a further twelve months after which renewals will be undertaken in accordance with the Authority's contract Standing Orders.
