Sexual Violence Psychological Therapies Service for Avon and Somerset

This is a service for Avon and Somerset commissioned by Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire Clinical Commissioning Group as the lead commissioner and Bath and North East Somerset Clinical Commissioning Group, Somerset Clinical Commissioning Group, NHS England (Health and Justice) and the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Avon and Somerset as associate commissioners.

This is an all age service to support survivors of sexual assault and is available to all genders. The service provides therapeutic interventions and counselling to support acute victims of sexual assault and abuse.

The initial contract term will be for 3 years from 1st June 2019. The financial envelope is £215,000 per annum.

This procurement was carried out by NHS South, Central and West Commissioning Support Unit (SCW) on behalf of the commissioners.

Additional information: The services are healthcare services falling within Schedule 3 to the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 ("the Regulations") which are not subject to the full regime of the Regulations, but is instead governed by the "Light Touch Regime" contained within Chapter 3, Section 7 of the Regulations (Regulations 74 to 77).
