Interpretation facilitation for Morecambe Bay Partnership

Morecambe Bay Partnership wishes to appoint an interpretation professional/s to produce an Interpretation Plan specifically in relation to the coastal birds of Morecambe Bay, and in particular disturbance of wildfowl and waders through recreational activities. This will be shaped through facilitation of a series of workshops with a range of partners in the Morecambe Bay area.

Additional information: The contract will focus upon:

Identify key themes in relation to wintering & breeding wildfowl and waders.

Develop key messages which will form the backbone of interpretation across the Bay.

Define and understand our audiences.

Identify a suitable style/look/straplines, which will help provide consistency across the Bay.

Identify the most effective techniques to communicate the messages across the Bay, including identifying suitable participative and community-based actions.

Identify suitable locations, venues, outlets etc. for interpretation through facilitated workshops.

Develop a template from which written/electronic/digital interpretation materials for the Bay will be based, using existing MBP guidelines.

Achieve this through a consultant's professional experience and facilitated sessions, involving partners from local authorities to NGOs.
