RFI - Maylords Library Design & Fit Out

Request for information to help inform the following project:

Maylord Centre is located in the north of Hereford City Centre and forms a part of the commercial city with the rest of the retail & high street sectors of Hereford City Centre. It is also a part of the Conservation Area.

The existing library is located in Broad Street within a building also housing the Hereford Museum and Art Gallery. As the owners of Maylord Orchard it is the intention of Herefordshire Council to relocate the library to available space within the centre allowing the existing Broad Street building to provide a dedicated and enhanced facility for Herefordshire Museum Service.

The vision in moving the library to Maylord Orchard is to aid the development of a Digital Cultural Hub for Hereford city, encouraging other like-minded businesses to the area.
