Brief Description of the Works

The existing Chloride 80 Net 80Kva UPS has been found not to be working correctly and is currently turned off after the replacement batteries had been installed. The UPS in normal operation supports the 1st floor main server room distribution board.

At present the 1st floor main server room distribution board is being supported via un-protected utility mains supply, CEH requires the re-instatement of UPS protection asap.

The current location of the existing UPS does not provide ideal conditions for the equipment, there are high moisture levels and little to no temperature control.
