Defra procuring on behalf Animal and Plant Health Agency (APHA). MoSS (Management of Sample System) is currently a vital component of the emergency response to disease outbreaks (e.g. Bird Flu) within APHA. This expenditure is required to enhance the existing MoSS application with a range of features that have been identified following post-outbreak review. The software improvement will enable better data management and improve efficiencies in providing Emergency Response. The ultimate project objective is to maintain and improve current emergency response capability with necessary updates to existing systems in a cost effective / controlled manner.
