CF_BT143 - Governance training (Neighbourhood forums)

Westminster City Council has identified the need for improving governance of the forums and increasing diversity. Currently, the Forum's do not reflect the demographics of the city with a particular lack of Global Majority representation from Black, Asian, dual heritage and people of colour. Forums have also raised challenges with governance and recruitment of committee members.

The council is therefore looking for a suitable organisation to pilot a three month programme of training and capacity building to support neighbourhood forums improve the governance and diversity of their committees.

Support will be provided to one forum with learning shared with all forums via the quarterly 'Forum of Forum' meeting.
