F6866 Market Warming Event
Hampshire Clinical Commissioning Groups are seeking to contract with a suitably qualified provider for the delivery of Enteral Feeds and Associated Products and Services for its patient population across the whole CCG geography. Current contracts terminate in November/December 2016. The contract will be awarded for three years on NHS standard contract terms & conditions, with an option for two 12 month contract extensions.
On Thursday 7 January 2016, stakeholders are holding a market warming event at Queen Alexandra Hospital, Portsmouth, to gather and share information to inform the final specification, Tender evaluation criteria and Tender process. The timetable will be scheduled between 10:00 and 16:00 hours. The format is likely to start with presentations from the CCG/Trust/procurement, with an opportunity for a two way discussion on the presentation. This may then be followed by supplier presentations (in private and by appointment) to feed back confidentially on the service specification.
Key components of the service outlined in the current draft specification are:
| • | Supply of tube feeds, associated loan equipment & consumables and ONS supplied to the hospitals & community trusts in scope. NB: there will be no guarantee of ONS market share through primary care purchasers; |
| • | Supply of tube feeds, associated loan equipment & consumables into the community where clinically appropriate and acceptable to patients in scope; |
| • | home delivery service option offered to patients supported in their own homes or residential/care homes, for tube feeds and associated loan equipment & consumables; |
| • | Where ONS products are required by a patient as part of a tube feed regimen, these too will be delivered via the home delivery system; |
| • | company home nursing service; |
| • | staff and patient training and support. |
EXPRESSING AN INTEREST IN THIS TENDER IS NOT YET POSSIBLE. This Notice is solely to alert potential Bidders to the Market Warming Event; the Contract Notice is currently scheduled for release early February 2016.
