description
The London Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC) is undertaking an Invitation to Tender for the delivery of Employment Advice Services.
In the aftermath of the Grenfell tragedy, the Council has been working with the local community to develop recovery priorities. The importance of employment and skills had been highlighted by the community as a barrier to employment. Within the Grenfell Recovery Strategy, the Council made a commitment to support the employment and skills ambitions of residents impacted by the Grenfell tragedy. Following the community-focused design and consultation phase, two specific projects have been selected, namely Into Work-Employment advisers working in the community and Build Yourself Up- A confidence building programme. This tender covers only the Into Work project. The full project description including performance monitoring, outputs and outcomes and payment terms can be found in the Specification document.
This is a Light Touch Regime procurement and will be undertaken using the Open One-Stage Procedure as described in the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 to source and appoint a provider for the Council's 'In Work Project' to deliver employment advice services to its local community.
A Prior Information Notice (PIN) was published on 6th August 2021 and open for 35 days. All interested suppliers were invited to express their interest in the contract and later attend a supplier engagement session which was held on 15th September 2021. The recording of this session will be made available within the tender package. The Council intends to use the PIN to shorten the procurement timescales on this occasion.
