This ITT has been created by Leeds & York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust acting on behalf of Health Education England (HEE).
Its purpose is to invite proposals from suitably experienced and qualified supplier(s) of Evaluation Services, to assess an Endoscopy diagnostic training programme for non-medical Endoscopists (NME’s).
The objective of this programme is to increase the number of trained staff able to support the demand and growing pressure on endoscopy services in England.
This derives from a number of factors, including:

| • | NHS Bowel Cancer Screening Programme and the screening age being extended to 75 years, |
| • | Bowel Scope Screening Programme (roll-out to be completed in 2016), and |
| • | Cancer symptom awareness campaigns. |
