The Supply of Plexiglass and Polycarbonate Screens to HMCTS

Her Majesty's Courts and Tribunals Services (HMCTS) Estate intends to procure two non exclusive Contracts for Plexiglass and Polycarbonate screens, with an estimated value of GBP 2 million, to enable juries to perform their functions during trials while sitting closer than the 2 m safe-distancing guidelines of Public Health England, Wales and Scotland. The screens enable clear visibility and audibility for hearings in court rooms without the need for the juror to wear face coverings, and to retire to a room where they can discuss the case but be seated within 2 m of each other. There is also a need for the screens to separate defendants and advocates in courts when social distancing is not possible.

The full requirement will include:

• undertaking site surveys to define site specific requirements;
• manufacture, delivery and installation of both plexiglass and polycarbonate screens;
• coordinate and deliver the solution from survey to installation within a 3 to 4-week time frame;
• delivery of the solution across England and Wales;
• ability to manufacture of 400 screens per week.

Accessing ITT instructions

3. Once logged into the system you will see the front page. First, click on "ITTs Open to All Suppliers''
4. Once in the "ITTs Open to All Suppliers" click on the "ITT: ITT_4715 - The Supply of Plexiglass and Polycarbonate Screens"
5. Once in the ITT click on "Express Interest". When the Authority receives a request we will approve, which will then allow access to the ITT.

Viewing ITT documents

1. When in the ITT click on the "Supplier attachments" area under the attachments tab .
2. Once in the "Supplier Attachments" area you will be able to access the tender documentation. The documents have been divided into 6 folders, with the number in the bracket indicating how many documents are in the folder.
3. Follow all instructions as per Volume 1-6 processes and requirements
