description
Cambridgeshire County Council, Peterborough City Council and Cambridgeshire and Peterborough CCG have developed a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for the delivery of Early Intervention and Prevention services across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. Service types will include information and advice, community support and hospital discharge or admission avoidance support, where services support the agenda of the Care Act 2014 to reduce, prevent and delay the need for care and support.
Commissioners would like to engage with providers to update the market on the current approach, timeline, proposed lots and the procurement portal requirements. This is also an opportunity for any providers to find out further information on how to join the DPS. We are holding a Virtual Supplier Event on Thursday 7th October at 2pm.
If you would like to join the event please register your interest by using the Messaging function section to this request by 12noon on Monday 4th October 2021.
This notice does not constitute a call for competition to procure any services for Peterborough City Council (PCC) or Cambridgeshire County Council (CCC) and neither PCC nor CCC are bound to accept any proposals offered. Neither PCC nor CCC is liable for any costs, fees or expenses incurred by any party participating in the soft market test exercise. Any procurement of any services by PCC and CCC in due course will be carried out strictly in accordance with the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.
Any responses provided may not be treated as commercially confidential and may be used by PCC and CCC in the final service specification used but no organisation will be individually identified.
Please be aware that Peterborough City Council and Cambridgeshire County Council is subject to the disclosure requirements of the Freedom of Information Act (FOI) and that potentially any information it holds may be liable to disclosure under that FOI. For this reason, PCC and CCC would strongly advise that any information you consider to be confidential is labelled as such. In the event that a request is subsequently made for disclosure under the FOI that request will be dealt with in accordance with the legislation and at PCC’s and CCC’s discretion.
Interested parties will not be prejudiced by any response or failure to respond to this soft market test exercise. A response to this notice does not guarantee any invitation to participate in any future public procurement process that may be undertaken.
The Council cannot accept responsibility for any costs incurred in attending this virtual event and any subsequent supplier involvement in further soft market testing.
All responses will be treated as confidential and commercial in confidence and will not in any way be shared with or used in the later assessment of any proposals submitted by yourselves as part of a formal procurement process.
