The National Oceanography Centre (NOC) are seeking tenders from suitably experienced contractors for the refurbishment/upgrade of a small laboratory situated on the ground floor of the main NOC building in Southampton.

The works are to comprise of the stripping out of services, cleaning of the existing ceiling tiles, cleaning the vinyl flooring and decoration. New data and IP rated power sockets are to be installed together with new gas lines and gas level detection equipment. Waterproof wall boarding is to be installed and some of the original cupboards refitted together with new laboratory grade worktop. A new sink and taps form part of the specification and a new salt water supply will need to be installed to serve the laboratory

As part of the strategic alliance between UK Shared Business Services (UK SBS) and Crown Commercial Service (CCS), UK SBS can use the CCS eSourcing Suite for future procurements. Your email must clearly state: the name and reference for the procurement you wish to register for; the name of the registered Bidder; and the name and contact details for the registered individual sending the email. Crown Commercial Service will process the email and then enable the bidder to access the procurement online via the e-Sourcing Suite. The registered user will receive a notification email to alert them once this has been done. The Sourcing documents can then be assessed on the eSourcing Suite at: https://gpsesourcing.cabinetoffice.gov.uk using the instructions detailed in the Specification documents with Contracts Finder.
