description

The Environment Agency has been requested by Defra to deliver their Environmental Noise Directive (END) noise mapping functions in England, as part of a wider move to have environmental monitoring and ownership of environmental data under the Environment Agency’s charge.

The mapping and action planning activities must be repeated every five years in what are collectively known as ‘Rounds’. This procurement exercise will identify a high quality Contractor who will support the Environment Agency to deliver the objectives of ‘Round 3’.
