The Council is requesting quotations from specialist suppliers, with previous experience of this work in other authorities, to undertake reviews of its Council Tax Single Person Discounts (SPDs).
The supplier will be required to provide a fully managed service verifying and reviewing approximately 20,000 Council Tax accounts where SPDs are currently in place. The cases will be identified by the Council and exclude those in receipt of Council Tax Reduction.

The conditions of contract provide for an optional extension of up to 12 months to the fixed 2 year term of the contract.
