(VEAT) Supporting Clinical Scientist Registration - Health Education England

Health Education England (HEE - the Commissioner) are putting out this notice as a VEAT Notice with a view to completing a Direct Award. Please note that this is not a Tender opportunity and that the contracting authority intends to direct award the contract to the following provider Academy for Healthcare Science (AHCS).

This organisation is authorised to enable unregistered healthcare scientists to gain registration with the HCPC via an equivalence process and use the protected title of Registered Clinical Scientist. Support the increasing uptake of registration across all clinical professions contributes to HEE fulfilling Mandate deliverables and actions of UK government policy including the Long-Term Plan and People Plan, particularly in relation to patient safety.

Heath Education England [HEE] believe that Academy for Healthcare Science (AHCS) has the requisite experience to provide HEE with the expert support and knowledge.

The financial envelope for the contract is £138,600.
