The Councils are inviting quotes for a Strategic Flood Risk Assessment which will assess the risk of flooding across the District and its implications for planning for sustainable growth.
The contract is to appoint consultants to:
•Undertake a Level 1 Strategic Flood Risk Assessment for Waveney and Suffolk Coastal Districts
•Undertake a Level 2 Strategic Flood Risk Assessment for the Lake Lothing and Outer Harbour area of Central Lowestoft. •Consult with relevant organisations as appropriate.
•Prepare a report detailing the conclusions.
•Provide support and appear at a Local Plan Examination in Public if required.
Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
