description
This Prior Information Notice (PIN) serves to inform the market of provider organisations in the field of sexual ill health prevention that Cambridgeshire County Council (CCC) and Peterborough City Council (PCC) intend to procure in the coming period. This PIN also serves to invite interested parties to register for a Bidders Event.
Please note: this PIN is not an invitation to tender, or a request for formal expressions of interest.
This notice does not form any part of an invitation to tender (ITT).
Any future procurement, and subsequent contract award, will be undertaken in line with the requirements of the Public Contract Regulations 2015 and the Council's Contract Rules; and the resulting contract will run from 1st April 2020 for a maximum of three years to 31st March 2023.
CCC (the "Lead Authority") and PCC intend to procure a sexual ill health prevention service. CCC will have delegated authority to commission this service on behalf of PCC.
It is planned that the proposed procurement will contain one lot which will include:
| I. | Universal education interventions including campaigns and school work |
| II. | Outreach interventions with high risk groups |
| III. | Support for vulnerable people living with HIV |
Potential Providers will be welcome to bid for the service based on the following procurement model(s):
| I. | A single provider that bids to deliver all the services themselves; |
| II. | A prime provider that proposes sub-contracting some of the services; OR |
| III. | A consortium of providers who deliver different elements of the services. |
Several different providers who each have a contract with either CCC or PCC ('the Councils') deliver the existing services. Following the tender process, a single contract will be awarded; the lead provider will ensure robust activity reporting; KPI and quality performance submissions; and financial returns.
The scope and potential value of the contract available is still being agreed.
The Bidders Event will be held on Friday 18th October 2019 from 0945 to 1330hrs at:
Wood Green, The Animals Charity King's Bush Farm, Godmanchester, Cambridgeshire, PE29 2NH
At the Bidder's event, a two-hour time slot has been allocated for potential providers to network following the conclusion of the commissioner's presentations.
In order to ensure receipt of further updates and to log their wish to attend the Bidders Event, interested organisations are asked to register their interest on the LGSS Procurement Portal (see link).
Noting that registration can only take place through the portal, address above, should any organisation wish to discuss this opportunity they should contact:
