description

  1. The Trust will make its radiopharmacy facilities at Queen Alexandra Hospital, Portsmouth, available for use by the successful supplier. This will involve issuing a Licence to Occupy or Lease for the facility to the supplier.
  1. The supplier is expected to tender to provide the Trust with radiopharmaceutical products including Tc-99m at a competitive price not exceeding current market rates.
  1. The supplier may use the facility to provide radiopharmaceutical products to other customers, and will be supported to do so.
  • 4.The Trust expects to receive the following in return:
  • a.A fixed rent for the facility and supporting services;
  • b.Reimbursement for the cost of any high cost devices or services;
  • c.A revenue share of external sales.
  1. The supplier must undertake the preparation of radiopharmaceuticals in compliance with the principles of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), as specified in European Directive 2003/94/EC and incorporated in the UK into the Human Medicines Regulations 2012.
  1. Should the supplier be contracted to provide radiopharmaceutical products to the Trust, a Technical (Quality) Agreement (TA) must be drawn up including a table of responsibilities between contract giver and contract acceptor.
