Durham County Council is looking into a potential procurement exercise for 'Supervised Contact'. The authority has a statutory responsibility under Section 34 of the Children Act 1989 to promote contact between children and their parents and relevant others. To support this, we would like to gain information from the market regarding a number of issues related to the potential procurement exercise. You are therefore invited to consider the requirements detailed in the attached briefing document, and to respond to the questionnaire. This notice is not an invitation for formal expressions of interest. The contracting authority is issuing this request for information only, in order to assess the reaction of the market and thus make any potential procurement process more focused and efficient
