description
Hillingdon Clinical Commissioning Group (HCCG) and London Borough Hillingdon (LBH) have a duty under the Children's and Families Act 2014 (and associated reforms to SEN legislation), to jointly commission and plan services for children and young people with special education needs.
This requires integration between health, social care and educational services with a strong focus on improved outcomes for children and their families. Shaping a Healthier Future¹ and Northwest London's Five-year Sustainability and Transformation Plan (STP) to 2020/21 aims to drive forward the 'whole systems' vision.
The aim of the MED is for HCCG and LBH to explore a range of options around the delivery of a new innovative model of Integrated Therapy provision for the residents of LBH aged 0-25years working in partnership with schools, early years settings, parents and carers.
The therapies included are Occupational therapy, Speech and Language therapy and Physiotherapy.
The contract term is intended to be for a period of 3 years, with a possible extension up to 2 years (1+1).
LBH invites providers with experience in delivering these services to participate in a Market Engagement Day (MED) event on Tuesday 31st July 2018 at 10.am
London Borough of Hillingdon
