The aim of this tender is to create a Framework Agreement maximum of three suitable Service Providers of Intellectual Property (IP) Services that can be used by the University to assess, capture and protect University-generated IP that has potential for assignment to Spin-out companies supported through the project.
The tender is to support the project with Intellectual Property services; these may include, but are not restricted to:
| • | Drafting and filing UK and international patent applications |
| • | Prosecution of UK, PCT and international patent applications |
| • | UK and international registered trademark guidance and applications |
| • | UK and international registered design guidance and applications |
| • | Freedom to operate analysis/searches |
| • | Assignment of intellectual property rights |
| • | Other relevant IP professional services as required |
The intellectual property will be generated from across a diverse range of sectors:

| • | Building technologies/construction |
| • | Advanced manufacturing and advanced engineering |
| • | Environmental technologies |
| • | Applied materials |
| • | Agri-tech/agriculture, food and drink |
| • | Medical technologies |
