description

Call-Off Contract description The External Data Attribute Update Service is a DWP Service to provide updates to External Organisations where data items are owned and mastered by the DWP. It is intended to integrate with the DWP Events Service and be loosely coupled to DWP's Systems of Record. Loosely coupling to DWP's Systems of Record will permit the EDAUS Service to remain current as the Systems of Record evolve over time.

The EDAUS Service will be Governed by a Data Sharing Agreement which is to be agreed with each Consumer organisation. The Data Sharing Agreement will detail what citizen data can be subscribed to and what updates will be returned to the Consumer.

EDAUS will follow a Subscription / Publisher model. Changes in DWP's Systems of Record will generate events which will be acted on by EDAUS. Where a Consumer has subscribed to receive updates to data, the EDAUS service will generate a file containing the updated data for each event that occurs.

The EDAUS service is based on RESTful APIs.

DWP require a team of Software engineers to assist us in building, testing and deploying our strategic External Data Attribute Update Service into an AWS containerised environment by the end of April 2022.
