description

Worcester City Council is commissioning a City Centre Transport Plan. Three specific packages of work will be required to identify a workable transport plan (to include a range of measures), for future implementation in Worcester City Centre. These include: • A Traffic Management Study; • A Car Parking Management Study; and • A Mode Access Study. The outcomes from the three studies will then inform a fourth follow-on piece of work which will produce the overall transport plan for Worcester city Centre. This will involve integrating and validating the recommendations by passing them through the relevant transport model/s to determine a suitable package/s of measures that will form the Worcester City Centre Transport Plan as outlined in the Local Transport Plan 4, SWST2 (www.worcestershire.gov.uk/ltp4) Please see the procurement documents for further information. The Council intends to award the contract to one supplier for all of the work packages set out in the specification.
