description

The main objective for this work is the provision of accurate and complete NE RCC area2 roadside asset location data in a spread sheet format1 (Sheet 2) accessible to our external supplier (KTC) software development team. These data are essential for KTC to populate the ATMS and will also be used to replace less accurate location values throughout Highways England asset repositories (including our Gazetteer3) in due course starting with the North East.

HE's Technology Performance Management System (TPMS1) is our current database holding maintenance and location data for Highways England assets, not including marker posts and is accessible via Highways England user accounts on a web based interface. Our Highways England Gazetteer3 also holds information on marker post locations and identification. These repositories are available for reference.
