Preliminary Market Consultation for Bereavement Services

North East Lincolnshire Council is considering a service concession for the delivery of its cremation, cemeteriesand related services. Whilst our current thinking is to agree a service concession, we are open to consideringother procured models for delivering the service. It has released this notice, to conduct Preliminary MarketConsultation (PMC).

The Authority seeks potential providers' views; aiming to understand if the market can respond in accordancewith its draft specification and seeks market reactions to it. Should the Authority determine it does want to

procure such services, this is the market's opportunity to inform the final content of the specification of servicesand nature of the relationship(s) which will be subject of that ultimate contract.The scope includes current assetsand services ie the management of a crematorium in Grimsby and 3 cemeteries in North East Lincolnshire aswell as the potential development of existing and additional complementary services.
