description
THE PROCUREMENT PROCESS FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY HAS BEEN ENDED DUE TO A CHANGE IN REQUIREMENTS.
Wolverhampton City Council currently uses Agresso version 5.6.3 and has a fully integrated system covering a number of Agresso modules and sub modules; (see Appendix one for list).
The council manages three main clients:
- Wolverhampton City Council (WCC) – 3,000 approx. web based users and 300 smart client users
- Wolverhampton Homes (WH) – 800 web based users
- West Midland Pension Fund (WMPF) – 100 web based users
In addition, payrolls are run for schools and academies.
WCC initially went live with Agresso 1 April 2014 with all clients and has since rolled out additional functionality.
There were two approaches to training used prior to go live. This approach has been adopted and continued into business as usual:
- Face to face sessions for requisitioning, sales ordering, budget management, income manager for 1,200 employees and,
- Online guides, videos and work books for self-service tasks and background knowledge kept on an internal online Learning tool.
WCC is looking for a work package to deliver updated training materials, guides and courses to up skill end users. The approach to date has produced mixed results. However, WCC is keen to enhance and develop end user skills with an emphasis on developing user responsibility.
