The Supply of Various Building Materials by Lot

Bournemouth Borough Council's is looking for a range of suppliers(s) to supply a variety of Building Materials (set within Lots) to enable the undertaking of responsive, planned and project works, including New Build across a variety of properties, both Council and Privately Owned. The framework is for 4 years accross 19 Lots. There is no limit to the number of lots a supplier can tender for. The lots are:

Lot 1 - Fencing and Associated Items

Lot 2 - Below Ground Drainage

Lot 3 - Plant Hire

Lot 4 - General Bulk Building Materials

Lot 5 - Timber, Bulk First Fix and Construction

Lot 6 - Timber, Second Fix and Finishing

Lot 7 - Drywall, Plasterboard, Insulation and Ceiling Systems Lot 8 - Plumbing and Above Ground Drainage, to Include Bathroom Suites Lot 9 - Gas, Heating and Other Energy Products

Lot 10 - Paint, Decorating Materials and Associated Consumables Lot 11 - Bulk Loose Materials, Concrete, Aggregates, Sand Lot 12 - Roofing Materials, Underlay, Tiles and Other Associated Items Lot 13 - Kitchens

Lot 14 - Keys, Locks and Associated Ironmongery

Lot 15 - Glass, DGU’s

Lot 16 - PVCu Doors and Windows

Lot 17 - Sheet Flooring, Tiles, Adhesives and Ancillary Items Lot 18 - Building Plastics

Lot 19 - Garage Doors

The value of the framework is between £12,000,000 and £16,000,000 based on historic usage.

The anticipated start date of the framework is the 1st November 2015.

Under this framework the Council will ‘call off’ under two options Direct Award and Mini Competition. Direct Award Standard ‘call off’ Contracts will be awarded by Lot to supplier ranked first through the tender evaluation for the first two years of the contract. Direct awards will be reopened at a predetermined time prior to the 2 year point in the contract and all supplier(s) under each Lot will be asked to submit a new pricing submission.
