description

The Greater Birmingham & Solihull Local Enterprise Partnership (GBSLEP) requires a supplier for the provision of a Creative Industry Mapping Study. It will support them in the development of a Creative Economy Strategy and subsequent implementation plan. This mapping study will provide evidence of the scale of the Creative Economy in Greater Birmingham, a SWOT analysis of the creative economy and associated recommendations for strategy priorities.

It is intended that the contract will commence by 1st June 2017 and be completed by 10th August 2017 (subject to contracting).

The maximum budget for this tender is £20,000 excluding VAT.

The purpose of this contract is to provide up-to-date information and analysis of the comparative scale and value of the creative economy within the Greater Birmingham LEP area and its key strengths, weaknesses/barriers, opportunities and threats to inform the development of a creative economy strategy for the LEP area.

The GBSLEP area includes Birmingham, Solihull, East Staffordshire, Lichfield, Cannock Chase, Tamworth, Bromsgrove, Redditch and Wyre Forest.

The study must include a carefully targeted amount of primary research to update and extend the extensive legacy work that exists.
