South Gloucestershire Council and Aequus are working in partnership to bring forward several
South Glos owned sites for residential development. The Grange site is a challenging site to
redevelop. The site contains a derelict former secondary school located within a very large
amount of school playing fields. ACL need to procure a M&E Contractor to deliver the following:
- Passivhaus designer
- Detailed design for building services for delivering South Gloucestershire's requirements
for sustainable construction including on-site renewables
- Advice to the team on building form, location and size of windows and U values to deliver
low cost, low energy homes
- On- site street lighting design
- Sizing of incoming statutory services and negotiations with suppliers to include location of
infrastructure, cost of connection et
